Paint Correction
only: |
|
|
- Bodywork
treated with bug and tar remover where necessary before the
whole vehicle is treated with a clay bar to
remove surface contamination, such as tree sap, tar,
atmospheric fall-out.
- Paint
thickness checked (Fe and non Fe only) and logged for customer. Thickness check
determines amount or severity of polishing that is safe to do.
- Machine
polished defect removal using various grades of compounds and
polishes. Achievements dependant on severity of paint
and paint thickness readings.
Paint correction to an
achievable/acceptable level of correction is based on the time frame
allowed.
1 day detail: 10-12hours approx 75-85% correction
achieved
2 day detail: 85%plus correction achieved

Sealant/glaze applied with machine.
- Wax applied by hand with sponge applicator.
Products used depend on type of car and on customers requests.
- Polished off
with plush microfibre cloth
