Frequently Asked Questions:   How far will Craig Travel? Craig can travel nationally but a small travel expense will be incurred (To be negotiated beforehand). Muddy Detail is based in North Nottinghamshire and will cover a 30 mile radius with no charge, this includes Nottinghamshire, Derbyshire, South Yorkshire.   What kind of car's do you detail? Any car's are welcome at Muddy Detail from new to old, but we predominantly specialise in club, show, sports and executive models.   What is Paint Correction? Here any surface damage to the paint such as swirls, marring, holograms, oxidation, can be treated or removed to a certain level by careful paint preparation using electrical equipment and the correct combination of polishing products.   How can I pay? You can pay by either Cash or Cheque supported by a guarantee card   Are you Insured? Yes we have Public Liability insurance with cover up to £1million This includes a policy with a Care, Custody and Control Endorsement which covers accidental damage to property.   Do you need water or Electricity? It is preferable, as it makes the detail easier and can save time, there are both electricity and water onboard. The generator can become noisy after time, so customers prefer us to use their own electricity & water where possible.   Can you detail my car at work? It is possible, but please bear in mind that detailing a car requires a lot of space to manoeuvre and can talk anywhere from 6 to 12 hours. We can also visit your club (Social, Golf, Health etc)   What if the weather is bad or it rains during a detail? If it is raining on the day of our appointment an alternative booking can be made to suit you. If it rains during a detail, Craig will return another day, to finish the detail off. The original condition of the vehicle and the amount your willing to pay is paramount to how far a standard that can be achieved when detailing your car. If a car has been used for the daily school run or for storing DIY materials then it may have had some significant wear and tear put upon it. We cannot repair damage that has previously occurred and such, this reflects in the finished condition of the detail. We will consult with you regarding this.
